Office Complex – Haida Gwaii

This 2-storey 10,080 sq.ft. office complex comprised of 14-modules is currently under construction and is being built to meet the needs of the local First Nation on Haida Gwaii off the northern pacific coast of BC. The office complex features offices, boardrooms and amenity spaces and the necessary space to deliver the Band’s community services. Interior details include rock feature walls and sliding walls to make the spaces more flexible, and the exterior is clad in a cedar accent to blend seamlessly into this stunning coastal setting. The delivery of the 14-modules included trucking to the coast and then a barge to the island, modular construction for the building helped to speed up the timelines due to a lack of local trades and provided better quality control for the overall project delivery.
