Stanford MT
This innovative workforce housing project addresses the critical need for modern, high-quality missing-middle housing for teachers in the small community of Stanford, Montana. The Stanford School Board recognized that affordable housing is essential for attracting and retaining skilled professionals in the area. Mckinstry spearheaded the initiative to deliver a housing solution that maximizes value for the Client. Utilizing modular construction enhanced cost efficiency and also allowed for an expedited timeline, ensuring the project was completed in time for the new school year to welcome teachers to their new homes. The modular design was developed by Mosaic Architecture, with ROC Modular providing design-assist services. The interiors feature high-quality finishes, creating modern and comfortable living spaces, while a site-installed pitched roof was selected to integrate seamlessly with the community’s aesthetic. The project showcases the value of modular construction to provide scalable essential housing in small communities and support the overall community of Stanford.
